Team Building Retreats
In this turbulent business environment, organisations must build strong and cohesive teams. And here comes the question. How to do it? In our work, we see many companies organising "nice moments together": lavish dinners, fun cooking classes, mountain hikes, or even group vacations in beautiful resorts overseas. The question is: do these initiatives work to build high-performance teams?
The answer is unequivocally negative. These fun events create some excitement. Many employees like them. However, once back in their office, employees realise that nothing has really changed. Why? Because these initiatives do not address the root causes of difficult team dynamics: differences in personality, cultural dimensions, and leadership style.
This is why Cognify is launching a new offer: our Cognify Team Building Retreats. These two-days retreats are built around the three-step MBI (Mapping - Bridging - Integrating) model. First, our participants explore their own and their team members' personality, culture, and leadership style using different psychometric tests. Second, they map them, discuss differences and their implications at work. Finally, team members agree on how to move forward and work together in the future: rules of the game, roles, etc.
By helping our participants to understand themselves and their team members, we create the conditions for effective and lasting collaboration. Of course, a pleasant and fun environment is also important to develop collaboration. This is why we deliver our retreats at our 5* partner hotels in beautiful Georgia (Radisson Hotels in Tbilisi and in Tsinandali for the Summer and Fall seasons) and sunny Qatar (Intercontinental Beach Hotel for the Winter and Spring seasons).
